He studied psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University and is continuing his master's in clinical psychology. He worked with young people in high school guidance services and a youth center.

He meets teenagers and parents separately and, when needed, together. In the first meeting he agrees confidentiality with the family: apart from situations that concern safety, what is said in sessions is not shared with parents. He runs the parents of teenagers group.
